How To Meal Prep…

STEP 1

Pick some recipes from the source of your choice. My favourite is Samsung food.

STEP 2

Save the recipes and put them in your saved recipes, then add them to your shopping list ticking off anything you may already currently have.

STEP 3

Get everything you need from the supermarket (you can also add extra that are not in recipes if you want it to do your full shop), ticking items off as you go.

STEP 4

When you get home, unblock everything, change it to ‘recipe from aisle’ and put the recipe ingredients together as you unpack. This way when you go to cook it, everything will be together and save you lots of time.

STEP 5

Pick a recipe that takes the longest amount of time to prepare and put that on first. Then do the rest, Ideally they’re all cooking at the same time and you can just leave them stirring occasionally.

STEP 6

Once they’re all cooked, allow to cool. I usually add a carb at this point and cook some vegetables. I prefer buying the bags of cut of vegetables or the plastic boxes of vegetables with butter but I take that out. Then I portion it between however many portions I have made. I do not measure these, I really just eyeball them.

STEP 7

I use throw away containers (recyclable) because I hated Tupperware and even going the Tupperware renga cupboard, it was genuinely something that put me off. I would then have to remember to take the Tupperware home everyday and I would always forget. Buying throw away ones has helped massively!

Step 8

Boom you’re done, I write on when I have made it and the date to eat it by because sometimes I forget when I have even made it .
